A resident of University Park, Rich Coady has two young kids that will go through the HPISD school district. Rich himself, grew up in Richardson and attended Texas A&M University. As a freshman at A&M, he walked on the football team and went on to become a three-year starter and was named first-team All-Big 12 as a senior. After graduating from A&M, Rich was drafted in the 3rd round by the St. Louis Rams, where he went on to enjoy a seven year NFL career. He played in Super Bowls XXXIV and XXXVI.
